I have found a button on the source. It leads to a site that does not turn anyone down for a credit card and no credit checks. The site is great for other resources.

All of these companies can pretty much do what they want, including raising your APR, stating the prime rate went up,they are changing the terms of your agreement, they are adding new clauses, etc. I also have excellent credit and I have watched as these things have happened to me. I would call and ask why and they always give me a song and dance. Then I would tranfer balances to a lower rate card, and it would go good for awhile until it happened again. I don’t appreciate all these excuses, when you are doing everything you can to maintain good credit, and they still have you at their mercy regarding the changes they can make. Just read the terms and agreement. Also it is always a variable rate, not a fixed rate unless it is a promotional rate to start with, for a certain period of time- that’s when it goes back up to what ever the prime rate happens to be at the time. They have us hook, line, and sinker.
