credit cards compare
I am 23 years young.
I owe between $7,000 and 10,000 which some people would say is a blessing compared to what they owe.

I also want my credit back. I do want to get happily married one day and have a house and you need credit for that.
I do not want bankruptcy.

So my question is, by paying off my credit cards and receiving PAID IN FULL LETTERS which I then mail to 3 credit beraus, am I building credit to help my future of one day being able to lease a car again OR own a home? Or is this basically the same thing as going bankrupt? Except you pay all the money back you owe & Some. Like will I be blackballed from getting a loan if I needed one from a bank?

Please help! Thank you.

Also, I had a total of 11 credit cards.
4 are paid off!!!!! (2 of the letters will be stating I paid in full. 2 will be stating that I paid the debt with a settlement. Does this make a big difference?)

4 more will be paid off by November 1st.

I will have 3 left and they are store cards and I need to call them and find out who took over my debt since they never contacted me since 2007?

Thanks, I am excited about my rehabilitation for my credit but I just want to make sure I am not wasting time if I won’t get my credit back.
