Can i buy prepaid credit cards by using gift cards?

I have a bunch of reward points that i can redeem for partner gift cards, so my question is if i can use the partner gift card i got from reward points to buy prepaid credit cards or any kind og cards for that matter?
Im using Discover credit card reward points to get partner cards, if anyone else has a discover card, which partner gift card did you get to buy prepaid credits cards with, i live in the U.S btw.

Is it safe to use gift card credit cards for purchases on line?

I want to order on line but I do not want to use personal information with credit cards etc. Can I buy a visa card for X amount of dollars to make a purchase? Will these types of cards work for these types of purchases ?

Is frostwire safe? compared to limewires unsafety?

So limewire stopped working for me (it wouldnt connect), I never liked using it anyway. It seemed to be unsafe. So I just bought gift cards for itunes instead of using a credit card. Its beginning to be a hassle. My friend told me about frostwire, she says its safe and she likes it. I just want to know if anyones used it and had any problems with it recently and is it safe from ex. viruses, spyware, etc. Anyone use it?

Comments about it would also be helpful.

I have itunes gift cards, why do I have to give my credit card number to use them?

I don’t have an account on itunes, but when I tried to use my itunes gift cards, it made me create an account and it asked me for my credit card number. Why do I have to give my credit card number to use gift cards? Will it charge me?
