Buy.com seems to offer $30 off on purchases with their credit card. If I apply today online how soon will I get the card? Will it be instant? Basically I wouldn’t like to miss out on a deal that I am interested in, so wanted to check first. Also are there any ‘hidden costs/facts’ associated with this card?

Hi, Im trying to apply for a DISCOVER or AMERICAN EXPRESS credit card and im a student. On the application it makes you choose your school but I go to a junior college and its not there, I found that both discover and american express dont have junior colleges on their list. Does anyone know why this is? Do they not accept junior colleges valid for their student credit cards?

Okay so a friend of mine applied for a credit card through Capital One. She is only seventeen but turns eighteen in like a month. She put 10/15/1990 instead of 12/15/1990 on the application. They sent her the card and she activated it without problems. She has a full time job and can pay what she spends. I know she lied, but if she pays the bill on time no matter what, is she in trouble? Would they have any reason to come after her?
