norton2628, Try calling a friend or family member first. If you don't have that option, I've heard good things about this site.

Cash advances are always much higher than your APR for purchases. Some are as high as 29%. If you have good credit call your credit card company and see what they can do for you

I think you are pretty much out of luck, but here's what I would try if I were you. We're assuming that you will use the loan responsibly and you have no other options, so I'll save you the preachy part...

Instead of looking for a new credit card, you should look at your current credit cards, if you have any. I don't know of any credit cards that will solicit new accounts with free cash loans--you can imagine that would not generally attract the most creditworthy customers, and the cards don't make any money. Call your current credit card companies and see if they have any offers with convenience checks. That's much more likely than an outright cash advance offer, and you can just make them out to cash. The rate still won't be low, but there might be an offer for you to use them at your purchase rate and/or with no transaction fees.

If you already have a credit card with at least a $2500 balance, then you can make a switcheroo and not be out as much money. You CAN find a 0% balance transfer, so you could transfer $2500 to a 0% card, then, with luck, get a convenience check offer on the first card at your same purchase rate. This would be almost the same as getting your 0% loan.

Typically a 0% or other lower than normal rate is a temporary balance transfer teaser rate (to get you hooked on credit) if you get approved for a new card and/or you do not really need credit. And there is usually still a balance transfer fee of 3-4% up front.

If you have not much of a work history yet and have been turned down for personal loans, it may be difficult to get accepted for a 0% credit card with as much limit as you want.

No. If your job is paying so well then you should save up the money needed and not go deeper in debt. Seriously who would lend someone 2500 free of charge. Cash advances are charged 29% interest

No card or bank is going to extend $2,500 at zero percent interest. Cash advance charges are usually much higher than the normal interest rate on purchases or balance transfers.
